will miss it
I agree that El Guapo attracted some douchey night life, but our area is so depleted in decent sports bars that I am going to miss my tradition of watching the NBA playoffs there. And I am never sure why I see criticisms of the food. It's a sports bar. If you went there for the food, you are dumb.
It would be great to see a solid sports bar replace it. Maybe less beer pong and more beer on tap and flat screens. I'm still good with stale nachos, though.
see ya

Bye bye bad food
They had bad food, bad service, and a bad vibe - and the managers were obnoxious to neighbors. It's a shame because it could be a very nice space inside. There used to be a good restaurant there before El Guapo. I just hope something nice opens in the space, and not another pseudo-nightclub that creates nuisances.
Agreed with Good riddance above!
El Guapo was a terrible part of our community and to top it off, their Mexican food was terrible!
Good riddance!
El Guapo was a bad neighbor. They encouraged young people to get drunk, which led to lots of bad behavior in our neighborhood, by kids who didn't live around here. Kids throwing up on our lawns, breaking bottles on the street, blocking our driveways... once even drunkenly breaking into someone's house looking for a place to crash. El Guapo is exactly the sort of business we don't want around here. We have lots of great restaurants that we love that are good neighbors - we need a place like that to take over this space. But El Guapo will not be missed...
